The Brief

Subway approached us to install a brand-new kitchen ventilation system for their upcoming store. As a global brand with strict hygiene, odour control, and safety standards, they needed a system that could keep up with heavy cooking volumes while staying energy-efficient and compliant with local regulations.

Our Solution

We began with a full site assessment, examining the layout, airflow needs, and heat output from Subway’s equipment. From there, we designed a fully bespoke extraction and fresh air system, built to meet DW172 and DEFRA guidelines.

The installed system included:

• A full stainless steel extract canopy

• High-efficiency EC extract fans

• Fresh air supply ducting

• Carbon and grease filtration for odour control

• Fire-rated ducting and external discharge louvres

Our team worked closely with Subway’s contractors to ensure a smooth installation process with zero delays.

The Outcome

The result? A powerful, discreet ventilation setup that keeps the kitchen cool, compliant, and comfortable for staff — even during busy lunch rushes. Odours are kept under control, airflow is balanced, and the system runs quietly and efficiently throughout the day.
